Neither the Greeks nor the Romans managed to tame the war-like Pisidians who fiercely protected their independence from the mountain eyrie of Termessos.

The well-preserved remains of this ancient city are scattered along a rugged hillside with jaw-dropping views across the surrounding countryside. Wear sturdy shoes and take plenty of water if you want to fully explore this site. The colonnaded street and upper agora are particularly impressive, but don’t miss the theatre where the vistas across the peaks of the Taurus Mountains are surreal and beautiful.

Göynük Kanyon

How to go:

  1. by car – drive Antalya – Kemer D400 road, turn right near Avantgarde Hotel right after bridge.
  2. by bus- drive LC07 from Yüzüncü Yıl street up to Aquarium, interchange on Antalya – Göynük bus. There is Göynük kanyon minibus beginning of the every hour

How long does it take: around 1 hour

Göynük Kanyon is one of the most popular trekking path in Kemer region and is famous for it’s natural beauty. It is a must – visit for those who are fond of active tourism.

How long does it take: around 1-1,5 hour

Aspendos is an ancient Greco-Roman city, it was related to Pamphilia, as Perge did as well. Aspendos is famous for it’s very well preserved antique theater where International Opera and Ballet Festival takes place every year. National and international opera and ballet companies are participating in this festival to make it outstanding. Besides the theater, there are such structures as nymphaeum, agora, basilica, and Roman aqueduct with Eurymedon Bridge.

Sagalassos Ancient City

How to go: Drive D685 Antalya – Isparta road, 134 km
How long does it take: 2 hours

Ancient city Sagalassos was one of the major Pisidian towns, and also was one of the first town of Pisidia. Remains show that the town had Hellenistic, Roman and early Byzantine influences. First human settlement goes back to 8000 BCE. Sagalassos was also one of the richest town of Pisidia. The city is rather well preserved and such construction as agora, theatre and nymphaeum can be observed.

Olympos & Chimaera

The near-twin villages of Olympus and Çıralı sit on a piece of lovely coastline surrounded by the ruins of the ancient Lycian city of Olympus. The famed attraction here is the chimaera – a naturally occurring eternal flame that flickers out of the rock cliff above. Olympus is popular with young backpackers and has a bit of a party-reputation while Çıralı is more laid-back and all about chilling out on the beach. Both are perfect for anyone seeking a beach holiday well away from Turkey’s purposely built-up tourist resorts.

Terracity Shopping Mall

Terra City, one of the biggest shopping malls in Antalya, has national and international store chains and world-known brands. Terra City is also a center of interaction and amusement. It has 150 stores and 30 restaurants. 1000 people capacity drinking & eating area is available for all visitors.

Migros Shopping Mall

How to go: by bus- KL08, KC06 from Yüzüncü Yıl street (in front of Mark Antalya)
How long does it take: around 25 minutes

Antalya Migros Shopping Center situated by the seaside, close to Beach Park, Antalya Aquarium and Aqualand, Aktur Park and Falez Park, introduces 130 stores with global and local brands. There is a number of restaurants and fast food outlets, as well as 5M Migros, a huge hypermarket. Migros Shopping Center is opened from 10:00 to 22:00, during summer season closes at 23:00.

Markantalya Shopping Mall

How to go: on foot, through Kapalı Yol street
How long does it take: around 7 minutes

Mark Antalya is situated in the heart of Antalya city center, is a place for shopping, amusement, and interaction, introduces 155 national and international brands, has huge food court with number of famous fast foods and restaurants. There is wonderful terrace to enjoy your food on the open air. As a great addition, Mark Antalya owns one of the biggest and most modern parking lot with 3000 vehicles capacity.

Özdilek Shopping Mall

Özdilek is a host place for 114 brands, has 2 floors parking and 4 floors of shops, has supermarket, electronic market, and huge construction market. As well shopping center has number of restaurants and fast food outlets for any taste.

Erasta Shopping Mall

Working hours: 10:00 – 22:00 (23:00 from 6 June-18 September)
How to go: bus LC73 from Güllük street
How long does it take: around 40 minutes

Erasta has 55 shops and parking lot of 1300 places capacity. It is famous for the biggest garden in shopping center in the entrance, as well it is half – opened, which provides an opportunity to do shopping and breathing fresh air admiring beauty around at the same time.
